Sioux Falls police are searching for the person responsible for an early morning armed robbery on Sunday at a convenience store on the city's northeast side.

KSFY TV is reporting the robbery took place around 5:30 AM on Sunday morning (December 8) at Casey's General Store in the area of East Rice Street and North Jessica Avenue.

Police told KSFY, the suspect was wearing dark clothing and some kind of Halloween mask at the time of the crime. According to the report, the subject entered the store, displayed a large knife, and then demanded cash.

The suspect quickly fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

KSFY reports that no one was harmed during the incident.
