I'm willing to bet that at one point, the name Jessica was considered odd. Where did it come from? Who is the first Jessica we have on record? Did we just throw together random letters or was this the female version of Jesse.
As far as I know, there are no limits when it comes to names.
Well, scratch that. I don't think you can use numbers, symbols or emojis in a legal name. Just ask Elon Musk.
That hasn't stopped anyone for getting creative with less-used letters like Q, X, and Z.
So it's no surprise that predictions for names 30 years from now are... out there. Actually, that might not be a fair assessment. After all, we might have quite a few people living in space by the time 2050 rolls around. And if the sci-fy movies have taught us anything, it's that futuristic names are worthy of extraterrestrial life.
One expert believes they know what names are likely to be popular amongst our kids when they become parents. Or, if you already have grandkids, these could be the names of your great-grandkids.
