Sioux Falls Picks: Best Movies to Watch on Halloween

We asked, what's the best movie to watch on Halloween to our Facebook fans and we had a little humor, a few classics, and a lot of downright scary flicks to watch on All Hallows Eve.

From a personal standpoint, the horror movie which received the most mentions was The Strangers, and The Strangers 2: Prey at Night - both of which are indeed terrifying. I remember watching The Strangers around 10:30 a night...alone...in the dark. never again.

It's also nice to get the old Hitchcock classic like The Birds or Psycho.

Some don't like horror movies at all and choose comedy classic like Hocus Pocus and The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Whichever genre of movies you like to watch on Halloween there are two things we know for sure. This year it's a school night so we can't stay up too late, and it's going to be cold with temperatures in the high 20s. Brrr.
