
Sioux Falls Cafe Issues Urgent Plea for Money to Keep Doors Open
These have been trying times indeed for a number of restaurants, cafes, and bars in Sioux Falls with a rash of closings, downsizings, and relocations.
The latest establishment to feel the heat has put out an emergency call for cash in the hopes of keeping its doors open beyond the end of this month.
The Cattitude Cafe, in downtown Sioux Falls, says it needs an influx of $25,000 in the next three weeks in order to stay open.

The Cafe says there are a couple of ways for the public to help:
A crowdfunding campaign has been set up for donations. with recognition coming for gifts of $50-$2,500+"
$50+ - Digital thank you card featuring our resident cats
$100+ - Free beverage on your next visit
$500+ - Limited edition The Cattitude Cafe t-shirt
$1000+ - Private cat cuddle session for you and your family.
$2500+ - Your name on our Supporters Wall for one year
The cafe is also welcoming new investors for a minimum contribution of $2,500, with these incentives:
- Potential annual dividends.
- Unlimited cat room admissions.
- VIP access to all cafe events.

The alarming news of a possible closure comes just three weeks after the cafe announced it was scaling back its food options, eliminating its kitchen, and expanding the interactive cat space at the facility.
Since opening in the summer of 2023, The Cattitude Cafe has been a great place for animal lovers to get up close and personal with scores of furry friends and the cafe has been instrumental in creating a number of connections between humans and felines.
