It's a milestone birthday for Carlos Santana. The legendary musician/guitarist turns 70 on July 20.

As if I needed one more reason why he is one of my all-time favorites, he nails his success in one simple quote. "For me, it's not really about the awards. It's about having a spiritual orgasm people get while I'm in concert."

Love that.

Santana remains the only musician in history to receive a Grammy award for Record of the Year, and the Best Latin Album Grammy.
