Elton John Sings Tammy Wynette’s ‘Stand By Your Man’ {Listen}

There's an old saying, 'Politics makes for strange bedfellows'.

Well, I suppose the same could be said about music.

Some years ago we found a video of The Rolling Stones singing the Waylon Jennings classic 'Bob Wills Is Still The King' (go the search box, type in Rolling Stones...it's pretty cool).

Here, one of rock and roll's biggest stars taking his turn at the Tammy Wynette standard 'Stand By Your Man'.

When Tammy passed away back in the 1990s, a tribute album was recorded called 'Tammy Wynette Remembered', where the artist's from several genres' of music contributed a song.

Turns out Elton John was a huge Tammy Wynette fan, and he contributed the song below to that album.  See what you think!
