Robbie Robertson to Publish Book About Legends

Robbie Robertson apparently took time out from working on his memoirs to write a book with his son, Sebastian. Legends, Icons & Rebels: Music That Changed the World takes a look at 27 musicians the Robertsons consider the greats. Among them are Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys and Joni Mitchell. In the text, Robertson shares his thoughts on each artist and how they influenced him. The 128-page book includes a pair of CDs with a song by each artist. It will be published in the U.S. and Canada on October 8th and will also be available as an eBook.
