That Ridley Scott is such a rascal -- always taunting us with information on sequels that may or may not happen, but where there's money, there's a way, and he's talking up those 'Prometheus' and 'Blade Runner' sequels again.

Hey, did you know that Ridley Scott wants to do sequels to 'Blade Runner' and 'Prometheus'? It's not like he's ever mentioned this to anyone, ever! Sarcasm aside, we're actually pretty interested in sequels to both films, and even if you are in the anti-'Prometheus' camp, you've gotta admit it's a beautiful world with interesting designs and ideas, and seeing more of that wouldn't be a bad thing.

In a recent interview with Metro, Scott spoke about where 'Prometheus' could go after the end of the film, which found Dr. Shaw and David about to embark on an Odd Couple-style space road trip:

"Prometheus evolved into a whole other universe. You’ve got a person [Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw] with a head in a bag [ Michael Fassbender’s David] that functions and has an IQ of 350. It can explain to her how to put the head back on the body and she’s gonna think about that long and hard because, once the head is back on his body, he’s dangerous"

That's kind of the big issue with the entire film -- these characters make decisions that don't make a whole lot of sense, though you could argue that that's precisely the point. Someone like Shaw is so driven by her need for answers about life and the universe and where we come from that she's willing to put herself and others in danger to get what she wants. And hey, if she wants to put Michael Fassbender back together, we're not complaining.

Scott also teases that we might learn more about the Engineers and where they come from:

"They’re going off to paradise but it could be the most savage, horrible place. Who are the Engineers?"

As for a 'Blade Runner' sequel, Scott says he's still trying to figure it out, but it is most definitely happening:

"It’s not a rumour – it’s happening. With Harrison Ford? I don’t know yet. Is he too old? Well, he was a Nexus-6 so we don’t know how long he can live [laughs]. And that’s all I’m going to say at this stage."

Place your bets -- which sequel do you think we'll see first? 'Blade Runner' or 'Prometheus'?
