Remembering Randall Zwart with an Epic Celebration of Life on October 17
In memory of Randall Grant Zwart, Pepper Entertainment will be hosting a Celebration of Life event on October 17, 2020, at the Alliance Building. Randall passed away on April 10, 2020, at his home in Missouri.
Many Sioux Falls rock fans will never forget the energy and passion he brought to the stage. Zwart wrote great music and we remember Zwarté, Easy St., Hit The Road, IV - We Came Here, Loud American, Holy Roller, Bullets, Time To Gamble, Road To Sturgis, Blow The Clown, Grandma’s Got A Tattoo, and more.
This Celebration of Life will be filled with anecdotes, music, and drinks. The original Zwarte’ band, led by Bob Zwart, will be performing not only their hit songs along with some of Randall’s favorites that he was directly involved with. Close family and friends will share some of their fondest memories of Randall throughout the evening. There will also be some unbelievable surprises as the night unfolds.
On St. Patrick’s Day of 2016, the 25th Anniversary reunion show of Zwarte’ was held in Sioux Falls, SD at the former Badlands Pawn. That was the first time in many years that the original line-up played together on stage. Sound engineers have spent weeks re-mastering all of the audio and 12-camera digital video shoot of this epic event and it will be replayed to the crowd on a massive high definition video wall with full concert audio along with never before seen interviews with Randall.
The Celebration of Life will be held at the Alliance building at 1600 W Russell St, Sioux Falls, SD57104. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Event entry is free for all guests. There will be a cash bar available.
Due to COVID guidelines, capacity will be limited so get there early! Randall is originally from Dell
Rapids, SD and is survived by his parents, a bevy of brothers and sisters, his soul mate and wife Daria Zwart, 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and arguably more fans than any band to ever come out of South Dakota.
