RantSports has named Dallas Clark the "Best Athlete Ever From South Dakota".

Clark was a first round pick in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts out of the University of Iowa.

Although Dallas Clark was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, he went to Twin River Valley High School in Bode, IA.

Clark is a Super Bowl Champion and compiled 53 receiving touchdowns in his decade long NFL career.

As RantSports went with Dallas Clark, I personally think its a very easy answer and Clark isn't the right answer.

For me, the best athlete to ever come out of the state of South Dakota is clearly Mike Miller.

Miller is a 2x NBA Champion and has all the accolades to back up my argument.

Mike Miller was drafted #5 overall in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic and he went on to win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award that season.

In 2006, he added the Sixth Man of the Year Award while playing for the Memphis Grizzlies  and throughout his career, was always considered a favorite by teammates including Lebron James.

As mentioned, Miller went on to win two NBA titles with the Miami Heat.

Mike Miller has to go down, at least to this point, as the best athlete to come out of South Dakota.
