Randy Rhoads: The Quiet Riot Years -- the first documentary film to be released on the late guitarist -- will have its premiere screening on December 12th at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The film is directed by rock photographer Ron Sobel and features interviews with Rhoads's Quiet Riot bandmates Rudy Sarzo and Drew Forsyth, late singer Kevin Dubrow's mother and others.

Rhoads -- who's better known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne -- died in a 1982 plane crash at age 25 while on tour with Osbourne. A trailer for the film is up on YouTube.
