UPDATE: The Lincoln County Sheriff says authorities have located a vehicle at the bottom of the lake, and are sending cameras into the water.


Authorities are looking for two people missing after ice fishing Sunday on Lake Benton, Minnesota. The two had not been heard from since early that morning.

According to KDLT News, police concluded that 29-year old Brianna Thooft and 54-year old Bradley Lund left an ice shack in a vehicle headed toward Norwegian Creek Campground, just north of Lake Benton. Search crews will again search the area early Tuesday morning for clues.

Lake Benton is about 30 miles east of Brookings, SD. Anyone with information regarding Brianna and Bradley's whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in Minnesota at 507-694-1664.
