
Missing South Dakota Teen Found Safe

Authorities are frantically searching for a missing South Dakota teenager, and they need your help.
Missing Teen
16-year-old Alyssa Marie Fortner has been missing since Friday (August 22) at 11:30 PM. Alyssa was last seen in a dark gray or black, 4-door sedan with a taillight out on the
passenger’s side. The car was being driven by an unknown adult Native American female.
Troubling Details
Officials are especially concerned for Alyssa's well-being because she removed all of her possessions from her home and turned off her cell phone. She also does not have her required medication with her.

Advisory Issued
An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued Saturday (August 23) morning by the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office.
Description
Alyssa is described as:
- 5 feet 6 inches tall
- 180 pounds
- Hazel eyes
- Brown hair
- Wears glasses
