BBC Radio 2 will try and re-engage fans of Pink Floyd on Monday when the British network airs a radio play based on The Dark Side of the Moon.

Acclaimed playwright Tom Stoppard says, “I found some time, sat down and listened to the album for the thousandth time, picked up from the beginning and kept going. This is, more or less, the first time anything like this has been done on radio.” Floyd's David Gilmour says, "I can’t wait to hear it come to life with the great cast performing it, and our music woven into it."

The Omega String Quartet and Julie Christensen will do a classical rendition of Dark Side Sunday night at the Levitt Pavilion in L.A.’s MacArthur Park. The concert is free.
