I've lived in Sioux Falls for about seven years now and hadn't been to The Parade of Lights. So, I figured I better remedy that situation.

The Parade of Lights went down Phillips Avenue on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Luckily, the weather was beautiful Friday night.

Also, a friend of mine lives downtown so we could stay warm until the last possible second and then head down to the street to watch the parade (I don't handle the cold well).

The parade was so pretty! I loved Catfish Bay making their signature human pyramid. The holiday train was so pretty. Also, a friend of mine works at Vance Thompson and they had a pretty killer float complete with choreography. I also enjoyed the 'Frozen' themed float with live singing. But my most favorite was obviously, Santa Claus!
