Minnesota’s Largest Fireworks Display to Feature Food Trucks and Live Music
The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. The weather is typically really nice and we're pretty lucky to have a great view of the city's fireworks display. We celebrate each year by inviting friends over for a BBQ and then we throw blankets down in the backyard to enjoy the fireworks.
Preparations are currently being made for community celebrations in towns across the state of Minnesota. One city has big plans for a huge party that will feature live music and the largest fireworks show in the upper Midwest.
What is Fourth Fest?
This Independence Day celebration features live music throughout the day and the largest fireworks display in Minnesota at night. The party starts at 4 p.m. and admission is completely free.
You'll still want to take some cash with though because dozens of food, beverage, and craft vendors will be set up for the event.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, but coolers and any other outside food is prohibited. Weapons and pets aren't allowed in either. *Guests are allowed to bring in one water bottle that can be filled at water stations onsite.
Which Bands are Playing at Fourth Fest?
This is a family-friendly event with a great lineup of bands to keep you entertained throughout the day.
Derek & the 50 South Band has opened for some of country music's biggest acts and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Fest.
Wild Horses - This group is from northern Minnesota and blends folk, western, and rock music.
Black River Revue - This bluegrass/Americana band is from Duluth.
Where Is The Biggest Firework Display in Minnesota?
Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth is home to Minnesota's largest fireworks display. The park is right off of Lake Superior and close to the lift bridge so the backdrop is picture-perfect!
Fourth Fest is Tuesday, July 4th from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm
