Paul McCartney has announced that he'll be performing on September 22nd at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, according to Beatlefan. The date, which so far, is McCartney's final North American gig of the year, has him closing the two-day festival, which will also feature such A-listers as Elton John, Queen with Adam Lambert, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Drake, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Ke$ha, and Keith Urban, among others. Ryan Seacrest will serve as the host of the event.

McCartney's 24th mainstream solo studio album is due out before the end of 2013. The still-untitled set was produced by McCartney with George Martin's son -- Giles Martin (co-producer of The Beatles LOVE and custodian of the Beatles' archives these days); Mark Ronson -- stepson of Foreigner's Mick Jones -- (Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Rufus Wainwright); Glyn Johns' son Ethan Johns (Joe Cocker, Kings Of Leon, and Ryan Adams); and Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence And The Machine, and Cee Lo Green.)
