
Let’s Get Moving to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Zumbathon to Honor 2 Sioux Falls Girls.
Rylie, 3, and Alexa, 1, were born with Cystic Fibrosis and relatives, supporters, and friends will take part in a Zumbathon to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The event is Feb. 23rd from 2-4 pm at the Washington High School gym and is $15 for adults and $5 for students.
WHS math teacher and Zumba instructor at EmBe in Sioux Falls, Michelle DeYoung, along with two other instructors, are leading the efforts to honor the girls.

Cystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder that affects most critically the lungs, and also the pancreas, liver, and intestine.
Although there is currently no cure, gene therapy has been explored as a potential cure for cystic fibrosis.
