Larry The Cable Guy brought some redneck, heartland humor to the Sioux Falls Arena Friday night (May 10). With a stage set up for half-house, the Cable Guy delivered what the 2500+ in attendance wanted to hear: jokes about beer, boobs, life on the road and living in Nebraska, Walmart, fast food, and even a little political humor.

Larry also spent some time talking about his family and what it's like now that he turned 50 years old in November. Larry and his wife of seven years have two kids, ages 5 and 6, which has opened up a whole new avenue for the Cable Guy, who is celebrating his 25th year doing comedy.

He also spent some time talking about living in Nebraska. He was born in the Cornhusker state and lived there until he was 15 when his family moved to Florida. He stayed there until just a couple of years ago, when he decided to raise his family back in his home state and now lives in a small town, about an hour south of Omaha.

Larry did about a 90 minute stand up routine, more than giving fans their money worth and even answering some fan questions at the end of the show. Of course a few people asked for their picture taken with him and he even went so far as to jump off the stage to take a picture with some special fans down front:

Long time friend of Larry's, Reno Collier opened the show with a very funny 25 minute set focusing on family dysfunction, aging and a plug for his new Animal Planet show about extreme fishing debuting in June called 'Top Hooker'. Collier joked that the name wasn't his choice. Collier wanted to call it 'Master Baiter', but was shot down.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Arena, and thanks to Larry The Cable Guy & Reno Collier for bringing a night of laughs to Sioux Falls.
