Kevin Harvick Wins NASCAR at Brickyard 400
On race day Sunday (9/8) the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series was at the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the running of the Brickyard 400.
It was a dominant performance for Kevin Harvick as he drove to the victory. He was totally in a class of his own coming in over six seconds ahead of race runner up Joey Logano.
Harvick started on the pole and controlled the event. The only other real contender was Ryan Blaney after he took over the lead on a restart and stayed out front for 19 laps.
Now the stage is set for the 10-race playoff to the championship as the series heads to Las Vegas Sunday (9/15). Seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson's streak of 15 straight NASCAR postseasons came to an end as he got knocked out with a badly damaged race car after an eight car pile-up.
Bubba Wallace ran third, William Byron was fourth, followed by Clint Bowyer. See where your driver finished.
