Minnesota’s Nickelodeon Universe to Open a New Ride Soon
Minnesota's Nickelodeon Universe is going to be adding a new ride to their amusement park soon! And this ride is based around a show that's been popular for many years.
Remember Camp Snoopy?
I remember going to the Mall of America and going on rides at Camp Snoopy when I was a kid. That's an easy way to tell 1. how old someone is and 2. how long they've lived in Minnesota. If they remember Camp Snoopy they're cool.
If you also remember Camp Snoopy like I do, get ready to feel old. Nickelodeon Universe celebrated their 15th birthday last March. It's been around since the spring of 2008. That's crazy!

When they closed Camp Snoopy and announced Nickelodeon Universe I remember being so upset. I was thinking "you can't take my childhood from me!" But Nickelodeon Universe seems pretty cool too, I guess.
New Ride Coming to Nickelodeon Universe
In December Nickelodeon Universe welcomed a new ride in time for winter break called Boots! Boots’ Banana Swing. It looks like a fun ride for the younger kids!
And coming soon is a ride based on the popular show 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'. It's called 'Fly with Appa'.
[Riders] will climb aboard their very own sky bison and feel the rush of exhilaration as they take to the skies, enjoying stunning aerial views while traveling up, down, and all around.
For those not familiar with Avatar, Appas are creatures that can fly and the creatures that the main characters use to get around.
There's no official date for when 'Fly with Appa' will open. However, in a press release by the Mall of America back in August they said it'll be open in time for spring break visitors. So it'll be open soon!
