The Long South Dakota Winter Is Finally Winding Down; We Hope

Hopefully, I don't jinx us by saying that winter is winding down, but I'm ready for it to go away. I think a lot of South Dakotans are ready to say good riddance to this long winter! Those who like winter, let me just ask, haven't you had enough?

I am well aware that this article may be a little early and there is probably at least one more huge snowstorm in our future. What is nice about March is that even if we get another 12 inches, the snow won't be around long. Just look at the progress that has been made on the snow that is on the ground now. A lot has melted in the last month.

That brings us to a new drone video of the Sioux Falls area from Carson Bower. He documents what snow is left. The snow looks kind of pretty from the air, that is until you have to deal with it for 5 months!

Here's to summer nights by the fire pit and shorts and flip-flops. But first, let's get rid of the white stuff.
