A website called NJ.com recently wrote a story with the latest details on this unfortunate mac and cheese recall. The Reser’s Fine Foods company issued the recall for five affected states, including California, Illinois, North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota. The mac and cheese products to look out for are American Classics Macaroni & Cheese White Cheddar (12 ounces) and American Classics Macaroni & Cheese (12 ounces).

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says the products "may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote." This has been classified as a Class II recall, which is a voluntary recall.
