Lost Dog Found in Freeman-Any South Dakota Hunter Missing A Dog?
Hunting season is getting underway in South Dakota. Dogs are just as excited to get back on the fields as much as the hunters are. Unfortunately, one adorable pup has wandered away from its owner and field.
The City of Freeman recently made a post on its Facebook page about the police department finding this large puppy. The dog is apparently really sweet and the city is hoping to find the owner as quickly as possible.
The dog appears to be a half-mastiff, which means this lovable four-legged friend is a big dog. He has black and white fur and tiny black spots that cover his body. His eyes are like a chocolate-brown color. He also wears a red collar.
Have you seen this dog around Freeman or the Sioux Empire? Do you know a hunter who's looking for a missing pup?
It's hunting season & Chief Slevin is asking for help in returning this sweet hunting dog (half Mastiff) to its human companion. Hopefully, it belongs to someone who's still in the area. To claim or share leads, please call our non-emergency police number at 605.925.7025.
It can be scary for the owners and the dogs when they run away from their humans. The City of Freeman and the police department are hoping to find the owners of this sweet pup as soon as possible. They are more concerned that the owners might not be in the area, especially if they are hunters from out of town.
If you or someone you know is the owner of this gorgeous dog, please call 605.925.7025. Let's help get this dog home!
