Golden Bachelor Breaks Minnesota Woman’s Heart In Finale

It was an emotional night for a Minnesota woman on ABC's "The Golden Bachelor." 22 women had their second chance at love with the 72-year-old "Golden Bachelor" Gerry Turner, including Twin Cities fitness instructor Leslie Fhima.

INCOMING SPOILER ALERT: The 64-year-old Minneapolis, Minnesota resident had her heart broken during Thursday night's season finale of ABC's "The Golden Bachelor." Gerry Turner did not give the Final Rose to Leslie.

Even though the retired Indiana restaurateur told Leslie he thought she could be "the one," Gerry ultimately gave his Final Rose and an engagement ring to the 70-year-old New Jersey financial services professional Theresa Nist.

Leslie Fhima was completely crushed and blindsided by Gerry's decision. She explained that Gerry made it feel like he "chose her," especially after their loving conversation about what their life could be together.

You get it. It's like I have to have you with morning coffee. I have to have you when I go to bed at night and everything else in between. I mean that's what it is! I don't know how we would decide where we would live. We'll have to figure that out. But I think there's no one else I'd rather try to figure it out with.
