Winning the lottery feels like it's almost impossible. But it does happen to very lucky people who purchase these life-changing tickets.

At the time of this post, the new Powerball Jackpot total is climbing at $747 million. This makes this total the fifth largest prize in Powerball Jackpot history. Can you imagine winning this?! Well, right now no one really can. Why? Let's just say it's been a while since someone has won the Powerball Jackpot.

After Saturday night's drawing (February 4th), no one matched all six numbers in order to win the previous $700 million prize. These were the winning Powerball Jackpot numbers from Saturday's:

2, 8, 15, 19 and 58, and the Powerball is 10

There were some Powerball Jackpot tickets that won a piece of the pie. They were sold in Florida, New Jersey, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.

According to a recent article from USA Today, no one has won the Powerball Jackpot since November 19th. It's only natural to purchase a Powerball Jackpot ticket just to take a chance. The odds of winning the $747 million Powerball Jackpot prize? They are about one in 292.2 million. With these odds, you're more likely to get struck by lighting or even finding pearls in oysters. Heck, some people have a better chance of dating a supermodel.

Don't worry: There is still another chance for you to become a millionaire! The next drawing for the Powerball Jackpot will be Monday, February 6th (today). In case you're on the fence, there have been recent winners in South Dakota and Minnesota.

If you happen to be a South Dakota Powerball winner in the future, sign the back of your ticket and take it to a South Dakota Lottery validation center. More information can be found here.

Good luck to everyone!
