Preview to Iron Maiden’s Concert Next Week in Sioux Falls
A legion of Sioux Falls metal fans have been waiting for this announcement - and it's finally here. Iron Maiden will visit Sioux Falls on their 'Legacy of the Beast' tour on October 3, 2022 at the Sanford PREMIER Center.
Iron Maiden SOLD-OUT a large venue in Austin, Texas last week.UCR writer Bryan Rolli writes:
The 15,000-plus fans at Austin's Moody Center on Tuesday, the second night of the band's current U.S. leg, apparently did their homework. The sold-out crowd roared with ecstasy as the band plowed through Senjutsu’s first three songs — the bellicose title track, the galloping "Stratego" and the swashbuckling "The Writing on the Wall" — echoing Dickinson's soaring choruses back at him.
Tickets are on sale NOW at the PREMIER Center box office or Ticketmaster.
The metal veterans will embark on a 23-date trek of arenas and amphitheaters, beginning on Sept. 11 in El Paso, Texas, and concluding on Oct. 27 in Tampa. Trivium will support them from El Paso to Spokane, Wash., and Within Temptation will open the shows from Sioux Falls, S.D., to Tampa.
Ticketmaster will be using Verified Fan for the show. Here's what to do:

Iron Maiden, the British heavy metal masters, are currently on the European leg of this massive tour and the fans are buzzing about the production, stage designs, and mind-blowing effects. According to Iron Maiden's website:
"The multi-themed concert opens with a replica Spitfire flying above the stage and progresses through a two-hour theatrical journey of ever-evolving interlocking stage sets with multiple incarnations of Eddie, pyrotechnics and special effects including muskets, claymores, flame throwers, a giant electrified crucifix, a noose, gallows and a gargantuan Icarus."
To say that their work is impressive would be an understatement. Over 2,000 concerts in 63 countries and over 100 million albums sold have pleased tens of millions of metal fans. And this 'Legacy of the Beast' tour may be the best yet.
By the way, how many fans do you suppose will show up at the Sioux Falls Airport to see Iron Maiden's mode of world travel? The massive Boeing 757, named Ed Force One, is piloted by lead singer Bruce Dickinson himself.
