Sioux Falls Events Collide Causing Parking Headaches
Sioux Falls authorities are raising concerns about potential parking headaches this weekend in the area for four popular venues.
On top of three events already scheduled for the Sioux Falls Convention Center, Sioux Falls Arena, and Howard Wood Field, comes the last-minute addition of more - a pair of Sioux Falls Stampede hockey playoff games at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The Stampede will host the Fargo Force in games one and two of the United States Hockey League Western Conference Finals at the PREMIER Center, Friday (May 1) at 7:05 PM and Saturday (May 2) at 6:05 PM.

The Friday game will be played at the same time as the Howard Wood Dakota Relays at Howard Wood Field and the Battle of the Brands: Hot Tub, Patio, and Sauna Sale event in the Arena.
That event also runs on Saturday, while the Convention Center hosts The Style Show: A Runway to Empower fashion show.
There are also potential construction blockages in the northeast lot by the Sheraton Hotel.
That schedule will test the limits of parking lots around the venues, prompting a heads-up from the PREMIER Center on social media.
The two best strategies to increase your chances of a hassle-free parking experience are arriving early or using a rideshare service.
