Howie got his start in comedy in his native Canada doing stand-up at a club in Toronto in 1978 and by the next year was opening for David Letterman.

His acting career began in 1980, starring in the movie Gas with Donald Sutherland.

In 1982, he started a six-year run as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on St. Elsewhere.

Ten years later, Howie had his own self-titled comedy show and in 1998 hosted his own talk show The Howie Mandel Show, which was cancelled after one season.

In 2005, Howie added game show host to his resume when he was the frontman for Deal or No Deal, which ran until 2019.

In 2010, he replaced David Hasselhoff on the judging panel for America’s Got Talent, a job he still holds down today.

Tickets for Howie’s October show in Larchwood start at $57.50 and go on sale Monday, April 17 at 9:45 AM.
