House Fire Near Valley Springs Displaces Family

A fire on Saturday May 14, 2016 south of Valley Springs has displaced the  family, who are now staying with relatives.   Neighbors say the Swenson family has lived in the home at 26627 486 street for at least 15 years and have done extensive remodeling during that time.

Investigators have not released the cause of the fire.  The Valley Springs Volunteer Fire department was on the scene to fight the fire.  No one was at home at the time, and there were no injuries.
