Harlem Globetrotters Coming Back to Sioux Falls
For nearly 100 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have been crisscrossing the globe as the ultimate goodwill ambassadors of basketball and in 2025 they're coming back to Sioux Falls.
The iconic team will take the court against their longtime 'rivals', the New York Nationals, at Denny Sanford Premier Center, Thursday, March 15.
Since they were founded by Abe Saperstein in 1926, the Globetrotters have entertained more than 148 million fans in 123 countries and have been instrumental in popularizing the slam dunk, the fast break, the forward and point guard positions, and the figure-eight weave.
Over years, their roster has included a young Wilt Chamberlain (1958-59) and iconic figures like Marques Haynes (1947–53, 1972–79), Fred 'Curly Neal (1963–85), Meadowlark Lemon 1954–79, 1993), and Goose Tatum (1941–43, 1945–55).
Tickets for the Globetrotters' Sioux Falls tour stop go on sale to general public, Monday, September 30 at 10:00 AM.
