So what's Upsy Daisy Day? I'm glad you asked. It's a day that I think should be celebrated each and every day of the year. Let me explain.

Upsy Daisy Day falls on June 8 of each year. According to Chase's Calendar of Events, "It's a day to remind people to get up gloriously, gratefully and gleefully each morning."

Often times you'll hear a parent say to a child, "Upsy Daisy" when they're picking them up off the ground or onto something. Well, today we're suppose to lift ourselves up.

On Upsy Daisy Day we're suppose to forget about our troubles and instead be cheerful about all that life has to offer - something we should be doing every day.

I've always been a big believer in "attitude." I'm convinced your attitude plays a huge part in everything we do.

It's like that old saying, "For some people their glass is half full, for others it's half empty." So let me ask you, how full is your glass?

I try to live each day with my glass half full. Do I have half empty days? Sure. But rather than getting pulled down into a rut, I make a conscious effort to change my attitude.

So on this Upsy Daisy Day, do yourself (and those around you) a favor and try to be positive the entire day - try to live your day with your glass half full.

You'll be surprised how everything around you will look different and even change for the better - simply because you made the effort to make the world a better place.

Again, happy Upsy Daisy Day!
