Globetrotters Coming Back to Sioux Falls, Will Debut Basketball’s First 4-Point Shot
The Harlem Globetrotters, the tricksters of the hardwood, will make a stop in Sioux Falls on their 2017 world tour.
The famed team will feature a star-studded roster and will tip off at the Denny Sanford Premier Center on Wednesday, April 19.
It is also rumored that the Globetrotters will debut basketball’s first 4-point line. The 4-point line will be located 30 feet from the basket – 6' 3" beyond the top of the NBA’s current 3-point line.
With unparalleled fan interaction, the talented team's roster has such superstars as includes Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard and Cheese Chisholm – plus female stars TNT Lister and Ace Jackson. (Roster may change from city to city on tour)
If you're the sports betting type, don't bet on them to lose. They bring a ladder - and confetti. I'm also beginning to think something is up with the refs. The mini-tramp is in clear violation of the rules.
Tickets are reasonable priced for a great family night out, starting at $21.75 and are available at the Premier Center box office, Ticketmaster.com beginning on Thursday, November 17 at 10:00 AM.
