A computer virus might be working through Facebook to empty your bank account. Technology experts say that malicious links are being posted on people's Facebook pages by fake profiles. When a malicious link is clicked it activated a Trojan which is then installed on the computer. The Trojan scans all personal files and steals any private information stored in them. The malware is even able to collect login information by monitoring keystrokes. The program then waits until the user visits a banking website and steals their log in information, therefore allowing them access to the user's money. Facebook says their site actively scans for malware and offers various security options.
