When former President Donald Trump comes to South Dakota next month, he'll be speaking in front of a larger crowd than originally expected.

According to the Washington Examiner, additional seating is being added for Trump's appearance at the Monumental Leaders Rally at the Rapid City Ice Arena, Friday, September 8 at 5:30 PM.

After the initial allotment of 6,000 seats sold out, the South Dakota Republican Party decided to add 900 more seats for the event. The official capacity of the venue is listed as 7,500.
