Of course it is possible that Bud Light was served in large amounts when the marketing team sat down to refresh it's slogan. That's the only thing I can think of as to how the entire marketing team for Anheuser-Bush missed the mark by miles.

People are upset with the domestic beer giant after the newly printed bottle label says "The perfect beer for removing 'no' from your vocabulary for the night," evoking concerns about alcohol-fueled rape.

Social media ignited after the labels were spotted on store shelves and #NoMeansNo quickly escalated in popularity.

"Sometimes, an entire marketing team can miss the obvious. Bud Light didn't realize that "remove no from your vocab" was an issue? Yikes!" Christopher Barger on Twitter

Anheuser-Busch issued and immediate apology Tuesday afternoon as images of the label spread online. The full label reads: "The perfect beer for removing 'no' from your vocabulary for the night."
