Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres returned to the band's tour on Wednesday (October 9th) in Fresno, California, after undergoing two emergency surgeries, according to Vintage Vinyl News. Torres, who's now 60, first went under the knife on September 10th with emergency appendix surgery in Mexico City, and then 10 days later was back in surgery for gall bladder issues in Rio De Janeiro. Drummer Rich Scannella filled in for Torres while he recovered, with fans -- who are by now used to Ritchie Sambora's absence -- watching a Bon Jovi show with only two out of four official members onstage -- frontman Jon Bon Jovi and keyboardist David Bryan.

A message was posted on BonJovi.com welcoming Torres back to the tour:
"Welcome Back Tico! Welcome back Tico 'The Hitman' Torres! After a round of emergency surgeries, Tico came back to the tour tonight in Fresno and played the full 2hr and 20min set!"
