It’s Harrisburg Days – 3 Big Days of Family Fun!

Carnival season is underway. Several towns around Sioux Falls are hosting their annual city celebrations, including Harrisburg.

Harrisburg will host Harrisburg Days on June 9, 10, 11 - three big days of fun. The forecast calls for a sunny sky and temps in the upper 80's to mid 90's. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Here's a list of events:

Friday, June 9th, 2017

• 8:00 AM – Tiger Nation Golf Tournament (Shotgun Start) at Spring Creek Golf Course.
• 5:00 PM – Midnight - Carnival opens featuring new rides and more attractions. Wristbands can be purchased at the Carnival Ticket Booth. Wristbands for Session 1 are $20. Session 1 is from Open to Close on Friday.
• 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Food Vendors Open
• 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Beer Garden Open
• 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM - Little Miss Harrisburg Talent Show & Pageant at the Harrisburg Days Event Grounds on N. Columbia Street.
• 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM Live - DJ

Saturday, June 10th, 2017

• 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM 8th Annual Walk Run Race for Their Lives. The race starts at Harrisburg South Middle School and proceeds benefit the Harrisburg Foundation and Lachs Legacy: Fighting SIDS in South Dakota.
• 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM -  Silent Auction at the Harrisburg South Middle School Commons. Proceeds to Lach’s Legacy:Fighting SIDS in South Dakota.
• 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM - Harrisburg Lions Club Pancake Feed at the Liberty Elementary School Commons.
• 8:00 AM – Ronnie Mac 3v3 Classic at Harrisburg High School.
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon - Community Parade.  Parade line-up begins at 10:15 AM.
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 - Midnight Food Vendors Open
• 11:00 AM – 1:30 AM - Beer Garden Open
• 12:00 PM – Midnight - Carnival is open. Session wristbands are $20 and available at the Carnival Ticket Booth. Session 2 is from Noon-5:00 PM and Session 3 is from 5:00 - Close.
• 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM Car Show
  12:00 Noon – Vietnam Veterans Award Ceremony at the Harrisburg American Legion
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM - Harrisburg American Legion Bingo at the American Legion Building. Food and Drink from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM - Kids Pedal Tractor Pull on the northeast side of Liberty Elementary School.
• 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM - Free concert featuring Mitch Gordon & The Unleaded Band.
• 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM - Free concert featuring The Rude Band.

Sunday, June 11, 2017

• 10:00 AM – Community Church Service at the Harrisburg High School Performing Arts Center. Offering Benefits Harrisburg Area Food Pantry.
• 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM Kids Fishing Derby at Lake Alvin State Recreation Area.
