According to experts at Mindset Media, a market research company specializing in research between brand loyalty and personality traits, your favorite beer is as significant as your style of dress or the car you drives in terms of personality. Here are some popular beer brands and the type of guy that drinks it:

•Budweiser: These guys are sensible, grounded and practical. They are the opposite of daydreamers, and do not like authority. They can also be very spontaneous and tend not to do much advanced planning, preferring to live in the here and now. Bud drinkers are 42% more likely to drive a truck than the average person, 68% more likely to choose a credit card with flexible payment terms, and 42% more likely to use breath freshening strips every day.

•Bud Light: These fun-loving guys are famous for their frat boy mentality. They are easy to get along with and have more respect for authority than regular Bud drinkers, but they are major risk takers. They are 48% more likely to play the lottery every day, and 34% more likely NOT to buy organic foods!

•Heineken: Drinkers of green label tend to be "posers." They have lots of self esteem and believe themselves to be exceptional. They love to be the center of attention. People who choose Heineken are 58% more likely to have American Express cards, 45% more likely to be the first ones buying the latest gadgets (like the newest phone), and 29% more likely to drive sports cars.

•Corona: These guys are extremely busy and energetic extroverts. They naturally seek out the company of others, and tend to be the life of the party. They are 91% more likely to buy recycled products, and 38% more likely to own three or more flat screen TVs.

•Craft Beer Drinkers: If your guy prefers specialty beers he is extremely open minded and intellectually curious. They are happy go lucky about life and tend to not stress about work  as much as the average guy. They are 153% more likely to buy organic food, 52% more likely to be fans of the show The Office, and 36% more likely to be the one to choose the movie they see in a theater with others. (AdAge)
