World Record Semi Jump – Barely Beats Clark Griswold’s Epic Station Wagon Jump

Mike Ryan is well known for injecting some serious horse-power into his semi truck. It takes a heavy pair to race a 5 ton, 2,400 hp semi to the top of Pikes Peak, but his eyes were set on setting a world record for a semi jump.

I'm not sure if there was a previous record for jumping semi trucks but this one might stand for a while after being airborne for 83 feet, 7 inches! Although the real daredevil may the one driving a race car.
