When Is Santa Returning to the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls?

Now that we've blown past Halloween, it won't be long before the star of the Christmas season makes his long-awaited return to Sioux Falls.

So when exactly is Santa's sleigh touching down in South Dakota's largest city?

Sooner than you might think.

The Empire Mall is unveiling the Santa Photo Experience beginning Friday, November 17.

You can get a snap with St. Nick Mondays through Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 6:45 PM. On Sundays, you can find Santa from 12:00 PM to 5:45 PM.

He'll be holding down the fort at the mall until Christmas Eve.

If you want to minimize your wait time, you can even reserve a spot in advance.

This year, the Empire Mall is also hosting two other events with Santa:

• Caring Santa (December 3: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM): A private, sensory-controlled photo experience exclusively for children with special needs.
• Pet Photos (December 10: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM) Bring your pets to pose with Santa.
