Those were the artists and songs that I had instilled in me from the beginning. And that's what I still use today as a foundation for my craft.

There were records from six different artists that I pulled off to the side. In future stories I will identify the other five.

But today, it's Jerry Lee Lewis that we will focus on. It was his songs from the 60's, when he transitioned into country music, that I listened closely to and developed a taste for.

It was amazing to hear how good of a piano player he was and how incredible and unique his singing was. It naturally sparked my interest into his 50's rock recordings as well.
