Victims of Sioux Falls Motorcycle Crash Identified
A Sioux Falls woman was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash near the Interstate 29 interchange on I-229.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Michael William Billet of Brookings was driving the motorcycle and 35-year-old Shauna Lynn Rose was a passenger.
The two had stopped on the shoulder of the highway and were coming back onto the road just after 9:30 pm when they were struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Dylan Waldner of Renner.
Rose died of her injuries and Billet had serious but not life-threatening injuries. Troopers say neither was wearing a helmet. Waldner was not wearing a seat belt, but he was not injured.
