
Two injured in Van, Motorcycle Collision at Rice Street and I-229 Sioux Falls
The driver of a van pulled out in front of a motorcyclist Thursday afternoon (April 6), causing a collision that sent both motorists to the hospital. The call came into dispatch just after 1:00 PM.
The motorcyclist, a 32 year old man, was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries and was not wearing a helmet. Police say the 54 year old woman driving the van also suffered minor injuries.
The collision occurred close to Rice Street, adjacent to one of the I-229 off ramps.
Investigators say charges are pending against the driver of the van. Names were not released.
