Thin Lizzy: Mistake In The Making?

Perhaps Thin Lizzy thinks it will be a gift for them, but perhaps not for their fans. They plan to announce their new name on Christmas. Singer Ricky Warwick says, “A massive thanks to all fans who have supported Thin Lizzy for the last two years. It’s been the biggest honor and privilege of my life to be part of this. Stay tuned for big announcements on Christmas on the album and new band name. 2013 is gonna be a very busy year.”

The band decided that since they were recording their first new music since the death of founder, singer and bassist Phil Lynott in 1986, they should release the album under a new name.
