Tea Fire Destroys Two Businesses

A salvage company and garage door company that shared a warehouse just east of I-29 at the Tea exit have lost their businesses following a fire Tuesday evening.

Witnesses say it was the last day for the salvage company to be in the building and they were cutting a gas tank out of a vehicle when a spark fell into some gas that had leaked out which started the fire. We are still waiting for the official cause from fire officials.

The fire destroyed everything in the building and also a trailer containing garage doors.

An estimate of the cost of the damage has not been released.
