This has been a huge week for marquee events making known that they're soon coming to Sioux Falls.

Over the past few years, they have been working on raising money for expansion and this past week they announced their future plans.

Roger Federer is retiring from professional tennis at age 41 after a series of knee operations, closing a career in which he won 20 Grand Slam titles, finished five seasons ranked No. 1 and helped create a golden era of men's tennis with rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

The 2022 Men's and Women's tennis seasons in the Summit League are wrapping up and the seeds are set for the Championship tournament.

Pickleball is clearly a sport on the rise in the Sioux Empire. One area company is contributing in a big way to its growth, and is set to develop courts here in the Sioux Empire.

The USTA announced last week that the Huether Family Match Pointe center will host multiple events coming to Sioux Falls.

This Saturday, June 16th, there will be a wheelchair tennis exhibition at the Match Pointe Tennis Center.
