Sioux Falls RibFest

Eleven national bands, a new venue and great weather all combined to help RibFest set attendance records last weekend.

Sunday at RibFest was all for the kids with free admission and performances from student and faculty bands from the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy in Sioux Falls.

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foghat and Head East rocked a muddy Fairgrounds Saturday that saw even more attendance records set.

There are singers and their are frontmen. And sometimes the two meet and you get rock's best frontman in Dee Snider. At least according to Dee. He talked to the students at the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy Friday.

A new venue, the best lineup the festival has ever had, and beautiful weather helped Sioux Falls RibFest get off to a record start Thursday night.
