South Dakota's new anti-meth campaign slogan is 'Meth. We're on it.' It's getting some buzz. And a lot of mocking.

A Minnesota based ad agency came up with the campaign idea. The cost to South Dakota taxpayers is reported at around $449,000. Once the map of South Dakota with the big black letters of 'Meth. We're on it.' was released. People everywhere started to comment with interesting responses.

According to the New York Times, “South Dakota officials knew before they launched their new campaign against methamphetamine addiction that its tagline would provoke people.”

NBC Washington posted: Gov. Kristi Noem defended the campaign, posting, “Hey Twitter, the whole point of this ad campaign is to raise awareness. So I think that’s working ...”
