Yesterday we heard our first bit of 'Sons of Anarchy' season 7 casting in the announcement that shock rocker Marilyn Manson would pop up as a white supremacist, and today we have a bit more needed house cleaning with the latest addition. Simultaneously appearing in FX's 'The Bridge,' Annabeth Gish will appear in the final ride of 'Sons of Anarchy' as the next sheriff to work with SAMCRO.

You're warned of spoilers for the 'Sons of Anarchy' season 6 finale "A Mother's Work" from here on out, but it stands to reason that Charming would need a new addition to its police force, after Juice shot Eli Roosevelt (Rockmund Dunbar) to protect Gemma's role in murdering Tara Knowles with a steak fork. According to TVLine, Gish's "smart and edgy" Althea Jarry calls on her years of experience in Stockton’s Organized Crime Unit to pursue Eli and Tara's killer. Jarry naturally realizes she’ll have to work with SAMCRO to keep the peace, even playing by their rules, though she's said to have a few of her own.

Elsewhere of the 'Sons of Anarchy' seventh season, we know that the premiere will pick up at most a few weeks removed from the events of the season 6 finale, while series creator Kurt Sutter has confirmed the likely returns of CCH Pounder’s DA Tyne Patterson, Peter Weller’s Charlie Barosky, and ‘Deadwood’ star Kim Dickens as Diosa madame Collette. Additionally, series stars Drea de Matteo, David Labrava and Niko Nicatera have been upped to series regular for the final year.

'Sons of Anarchy' season 7 will premiere on FX this fall, but what say you? DO the latest additions up your anticipation for the final ride with Jax and SAMCRO?
